Our Vision….
is to work locally to improve the health and strength of our community through the principles and practices of Waldorf and outdoor education. We believe that the foundational principles of Waldorf education benefit not only the children and families directly involved in a Waldorf school, but return many times over to the community at large as those students and families continue to give back to their communities long after their school days are over. Outdoor education creates enrichment for students who will carry a strong connection to the power of nature throughout their lifetime. By having a positive impact on students and families, one at a time, our work serves to strengthen our community and the greater world in which we live.
Northeast Waldorf Educational Foundation is a 501c3 non profit and the sponsoring body for the Northeast Woodland Chartered Public School which opened in the fall of 2020.
